CMS Releases Interactive Data Maps for 2010-2011

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools has just introduced 2010-11 Interactive Data Maps of CMS, created in partnership with the UNC-Charlotte Urban Institute. These maps include ten indicators that show where each school in the CMS system stands, including student proficiency, graduation rates, teacher turnover rates, student-teacher ratios, attendance rates, and per pupil expenditures. New indicators show the percentage of students with at least one year’s worth of growth in the subjects of reading and math, and the percentage of students who arrived on grade level who had at least one year’s worth of growth. The data can also be compared to previous maps for the 2009-2010 school year.
