SPPACE Financial Support for Primary Candidates

 

The SPPACE Board of Governors voted to provide financial support to the following candidates with primary elections.  The Board will consider additional requests for financial support as candidates return their SPPACE Questionnaire.

 

North Carolina General Assembly:

  • State Senate District 39: Andy Dulin and Bob Rucho

  • State House of Representatives District 103: Jim Gulley and Edy   Brotherton

  • State House of Representatives District 107: Kelly Alexander

Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners:

  • County Commissioner District 5: Neil Cooksey, Ada Nicolay, and Jaye Rao

Cabarrus County Board of County Commissioners:

  • County Commissioner: Holly Blackwelder and Joy Lane

Iredell Board of County Commissioners:

  • County Commissioner: Brad Howard

Union County Board of Commissioners:

  • County Commissioner:  Jonathan Thomas

Funding decisions for the general election will be made following the May 6th primary election.
